Armorelli provides firearm transfer services for customers purchasing firearms from online retailers, auction sites, private sellers, and other Federal Firearms Licensees.
All firearm transfers must comply with federal, state, and local law. Before any firearm is released, the transferee must complete ATF Form 4473 and pass the required background check or eligibility verification process. For most transfers, this includes a NICS background check.
How Transfers Work
- Contact Armorelli before having a firearm shipped.
- Provide the seller with Armorelli’s FFL information.
- FFL Number: 5-47-055-07-6J-03150
- Have the seller include your name, phone number, and order information with the shipment.
- Once you receive a tracking number email it to jeff@armorelli.com.
- Wait for Armorelli to contact you after the firearm has been received and logged in.
- Schedule your pickup appointment. Pick-ups are Saturdays only
- Complete ATF Form 4473 and the required background check process.
- Bring valid government-issued photo ID and any required Nebraska permit documentation.
- Once approved, pay the transfer fee and take possession of the firearm.
Please do not arrive for pickup until Armorelli has confirmed that your firearm is ready. Delivery confirmation from the carrier does not mean the firearm has been processed and is available for transfer.
Transfer Fees
Standard firearm transfer: $10 per firearm
Additional firearm on same transaction: $5
Return shipping or denied-transfer processing: customer responsibility
Transfer fees are due whether the background check is approved, delayed, denied, or the firearm must be returned to the seller.
Background Checks
A background check or lawful eligibility verification is required for every transfer.
Possible results include:
Proceed: The firearm may be transferred if all other legal requirements are met.
Delayed: The firearm will not be released until Armorelli receives authorization to proceed or until transfer is otherwise lawful under federal and state law. Armorelli reserves the right to wait for a final approval before releasing any firearm.
Denied: The firearm cannot be transferred. The customer is responsible for all transfer fees, return shipping, seller fees, and any other costs related to returning or disposing of the firearm lawfully.
Armorelli does not receive the reason for a denial. Customers who believe they were denied in error may use the FBI/NICS appeal process.
Identification Requirements
Customers must provide valid government-issued photo identification showing current legal name, date of birth, and current residential address. If the address on the ID is not current, supplemental government-issued documentation may be required.
The person completing the Form 4473 must be the actual transferee/buyer of the firearm. Armorelli will not process straw purchases or any transfer that appears unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with the information provided.
Shipping Requirements
The shipment must include:
- Customer name and phone number
- Seller name and contact information
- Copy of the sending FFL, when applicable
- Order number or invoice, if available
Armorelli reserves the right to refuse shipments from non-FFL individuals or from sellers who do not provide adequate transfer documentation.
Pickup and Storage
Customers will be contacted once the firearm is receivedand logged. Firearms must be picked up within 30 days of notification.
Firearms not picked up within that period may incur a storage fee of $5 per day. Firearms left unclaimed for an extended period may be treated as abandoned property to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Refusal of Transfer
Armorelli reserves the right to refuse or stop any transfer at any time if the transaction appears unlawful, unsafe, incomplete, suspicious, or inconsistent with federal, state, or local requirements.
No firearm will be released until all paperwork, identification, background check requirements, and fees are complete.
